Designed to empower educators with knowledge—not weapons—this site aims to create safer school environments through awareness, compassion, and action.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER: OLIVIA PESKIN

Olivia Peskin is a dedicated advocate for school safety and violence prevention. With years of experience in education and crisis intervention, she founded Armed with Knowledge to provide educators with the tools and training they need to recognize warning signs and prevent tragedies. Olivia was inspired to start Armed With Knowledge after seeing many organizations propose arming teachers with guns; Instead, Olivia believes we can arm teachers with knowledge to prevent future tragedies.

Her comprehensive training programs can be accessed in schools across the country, helping thousands of teachers and administrators develop the skills necessary to identify at-risk students and provide appropriate interventions.

Olivia believes that through knowledge, training, and early intervention, we can create safer learning environments for all students and prevent school violence before it occurs.
